Standard Wedding Album Packages, Prints or Digital

If you would like a wedding album, digital images for viewing on screen and some prints for framing or hanging on the wall a standard package might suit you. If you do not want an album I am happy to supply an agreed number of prints or digital images to be ordered in advance.

General Remarks on Wedding Photography Package Prices

It is often said that if you mention the word 'wedding' in an enquiry the price is doubled. That is not the case with me. In fact you can get a better deal than portrait customers on a per print basis. I also offer the same percentage discount for multiple prints of the same image as they receive. Why? Simply because wedding customers are ordering more and make advance payment on contract. I think that is the fair way to do business. The saving on a £900 album package is in the order of £220. I do not recommend that you spend all of your money on an album that is why I include prints for framing or wall mounting in the package costs.

All standard 'Album + Digital' packages for 2010 onwards include:

• The photographic shoot from the bride preparing, to the end of the last speech (or from arrival to the start of the evening reception)
• Up to a maximum of 120 numbered proof prints or disc
• Digital retouching of images of the bride and groom and immediate family where required
• An album chosen from a range of styles and layouts
• A set of screen resolution images of all pictures chosen for the album on disk
• A set of compressed smaller images suitable for e-mailing to friends.
• Prints for framing or wall mounting

Package 1 30 Page 8x6 albums + 3 prints for framing + digital images*: £650

Package 2 30 page A4 book-bound slip-in album with up to 60 pictures + 3 prints for framing or wall mounting + digital images*: £900

Package 3 30 page 10x10 inch book with up to 60 pictures + 3 prints for framing or wall mounting + digital images*: £900

Package 4 40 page A4 book-bound slip-in albums with up to 80 pictures + 4 prints for framing or wall mounting + digital images*: £1000

Package 5 12x8 inch Book Design albums 30 sides + 6 prints for framing or wall mounting + digital images*: £1100

Package 6 12x8 inch Book Design albums 40 Sides + 6 prints for framing or wall mounting + digital images*: £1200

Package 7 30 page 14x10 inch albums + 6 prints for wall mounting or framing or giving as gifts +digital images*: £1380

Package 8 35 page 14x10 inch albums + 6 prints for wall mounting or framing or giving as gifts +digital images*: £1650

*Digital images for the album packages are supplied as HD TV screen resolution of either 1920 or 1080 pixels high. These are good enough to allow you to prepare printed 'image books' with multi-image pages. There is also a smaller and more compressed set included for e-mailing to friends.

Standard 'Digital Only' Photography Packages

Digital wedding image packages include the same photographic coverage of the wedding day. Instead of prints and an album you receive high resolution retouched images on disc. There are advantages and disadvantages to the purely digital approach. I am happy to discuss the pros and cons with you to help you decide. If, for example, you are not sure about securely backing up computer files, setting up your monitor and using image editing software you are not advised to go down this route.

All standard digital packages for 2010 include:

• Free calibration images on a separate disc and calibration prints to check your computer monitor and printer or printing service
• A set of retouched high resolution JPEG images for printing your own pictures, image books etc
• A copy set of images resized and optimized for viewing at screen resolution
• A copy set of e-mail sized images for sending to friends
• A web gallery on disk and an online slide show for friends with password protection.

Wedding photographs in the studio for small weddings

If you are planning a very small 'private' wedding in the near future you could come to the studio to have your portrait taken. At one point in time this was common practice. The advantage of this approach is that you can have a simple ceremony and still have very high quality images. A minimum of 6 photographs need to be ordered. A standard portrait shoot fee and standard print costs are payable.
