Steve Campbell

I have been taking portraits since the age of 17 and have done photography for work and pleasure all of my adult life. I was formerly a scientist and University lecturer and ran my own imaging courses. I have B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees. I have a no-fault 'Enhanced Disclosure Scotland' (for info click here) certificate issued in February 2010.

Hours of Opening and Directions to the Studio

I have have flexible opening hours and work by appointment only. I work days, evenings and weekends as the need arises. To make an enquiry or appointment call 0141 570 1368. The studio is at the rear of my house and is the white building in the back garden.

Portrait Pricing For Customers (Booked from the 20th January 2012)

1)1 sheet of 8 UK passport photos -£16
1 sheet of 6 US Visa and Passport, Canadian Passport £19

2) Digital Business Portraits: From £32 according to requirements

3) Family Digital + Print Portrait Packages

All package customers are now supplied with digital images, photobook and mounted prints. Packages include

The shoot for up to 2 hours ,
A disc selection session (if you live locally),
A private online web gallery for your selected images,
Prints
A photobook
A disk of retouched disc of images. Packages start at £250.

4) Babies and Baby Packages

If you have a baby who is just not in the mood to be photographed I will not charge Many mothers of babies of small children buy standard prints for friends and family.

5) Non-Package Portrait Prices (No Disc Included)

For family portrait sessions I charge a combined shoot, viewing and web gallery fee of £60 total and then charge per print. There is absolutely no obligation to buy anything. Presently prints start at £14 for a 7x5 print supplied in a strut mount (for other example prices see below). I also offer discounts on multiple orders of the same print.

Other sorts of block mounting are available if you want a frameless appearance but do not want the image breakup of a canvas effect.

No Sales Pressure

I never coerce clients to pose in any way they feel does not suit them or try to pressurise them to buy anything. I work on the basis that if the images are really good and are what people want my work will sell itself.

No 'Free' Tricks

I do not con clients by offering free sessions and then ask extremely high prices for framed prints.

No Hidden Charges

I have no hidden charges and am very happy to discuss package prices up front with customers.
